Brad Long joined the company in 2003 and has served as the Vice President of Strategic Development. His primary responsibility included expanding and progressing Mid-America Group’s leadership position in real estate, while further positioning the company’s services and partnerships within the marketplace. The former Mayor of Grimes (1994-2002), Brad has a diverse background in both the public and private sector. Brad is responsible for the leasing of all Mid-America Group properties.

Scott joined Mid-America Commercial Real Estate in 2006. Michael Carver is primarily focused in industrial and investment real estate. His work includes leasing and sales for owners as well as tenant representation. His active involvement in economic development activities in the metro area over the past twenty years gives him a working knowledge of elected and appointed leadership within Polk County. His hard work and success with industrial properties has earned him the coveted SIOR designation for industrial real estate.

John Ginsberg

From Illinois to Washington State, John has worked with an eclectic group of retailers and restaurateurs. In 1995 John was in charge of a national real estate rollout for Paper Warehouse, party supplies. John assembled and managed brokers in the targeted markets. Under John’s direction Paper Warehouse was able to enter markets quicker than its competitors. The chain grew from 40 stores to over 150 in less than two years. Paper Warehouse later sold its business to its main competitor based on the strength of its national real estate.

Since 1997, Dean has served as the exclusive listing agent for two premier office parks in West Des Moines, Regency West and Westridge.
